Christian Hawkey , born 1969, poet, art critic, editor and founder of the literary magazine "Jubilat "lives in Berlin and Brooklyn, where he was at the Pratt Institute of Literature and Creative Writing teaches. 2008 he is a scholar of the DAAD Artists Programme in Berlin. His poetry books "The Book of Funnels" (Verse Press 2004) and "Citizen of" (Wave Books 2007), among others, the Kate Tufts Discovery Award, awarded the Creative Capital Innovative Literature Award and the Academy of American Poets. Christian Hawkey's poems have been published in major journals and anthologies in North America, Sweden, Slovenia, Austria and Germany. »Tours in goats speed" is his first solo release in German and was translated by Steffen Popp and Uljana Wolf.
