Steffen Popp, born 1978 in Greifswald, grew up in Dresden, lives since 2001 as a student of literature and philosophy in Berlin. Narratives are "in the anthologies from the fish spat", Kiepenheuer & Witsch, 2002, and "double pass" kookbooks 2004, including poems in "Poetry of NOW," DuMont 2003, and "Diapason", Moscow 2005, released. Steffen Popp received including the Kranichsteiner Prize of the German Literature Fund in 2004 and the Heimrad Baker Award in 2006, his poems were recently awarded by the Academy Graz 2003. His novel "ears mountain or the road was there," nominated for the German Book Prize 2006 and was awarded the Rauris Literature Award 2007 for best debut fiction.
